When Your Weather App Needs a Second Opinion
I checked the weather on my phone. Then I looked out the window for a second opinion.
Weather apps have given us something previous generations could only dream about: instant access to forecasts, temperatures, radar, precipitation chances, hourly conditions, wind speeds, and weather alerts from a device in our pocket.
And after reviewing all that information, many of us still look outside.
It’s a perfect example of our relationship with modern technology. We trust the phone enough to consult it first, but not quite enough to skip the window.
